…where a child is given access to books and encouraged to read at an early age (as opposed to hours in front of the TV or playing video games), and you’ll also be giving that child a running head-start in life. 

According to the Children’s Reading Foundation, the largest portion of high school dropouts are students that were behind in reading when they started Kindergarten.  They also (statistically) have less that a 12% chance of eventually attending college. The message is clear and simple…instill a love of  reading at an early age.

There is no downside, and the upside can last a lifetime!
